I did not watch The Tonight Show last night. I feared for the safety of my television, which never recovered from the last McCain appearance (and that was when he was still likable). I like Letterman better anyway, but I digress. Leno asked Mc5.5 how many houses he owns. He responded gravely, “I spent 5½ years in a prison cell; I didn’t have a house.” Played out much?
