Rage To Play Twin Cities During RNC

Rage Against The Machine will be playing a concert on September 3, 2008, at the Target Center in Minneapolis. I made personal inquiries into available accommodations during the Republican National Convention even before hearing about the Rage show. So far I have come up with an abandoned factory not too far from the Mississippi River, which will probably be crowded but still have enough floor space for a sleeping bag.

Upon hearing about this concert, I see I need to redouble my inquiries into conditions at the local jail in that city. Does anybody for one second believe that the Twin Cities will be peaceful during the convention? If you do, then the reference to RATM was probably completely lost on you. They play music, angry music. Some of their fans may well be more pissed off than they are. Rage was angry about the way the Clinton administration abused our freedoms, so you can imagine they have totally chilled out during the Bush years. I congratulate their genius in scheduling a riot, I mean concert, during the RNC. I'm down.
